A total of 250,075 students enrolled in public and private educational institutions passed the regular session of the unified national baccalaureate examination for June 2025, the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports announced on Saturday.
The success rate stood at 66.8%, compared to 67.86% in the June 2024 session, marking a 1.5% decrease, the Ministry stated in a press release detailing the final results of the 2025 regular session.
Of the 250,075 students who passed, 145,918 were girls, with a success rate of 71.3%, compared to 61.81% among male candidates, according to the same source.
A total of 374,371 enrolled candidates took part in this year’s exams, representing a 97.14% attendance rate, compared to 362,848 candidates and a 97.36% attendance rate last year.
As for independent candidates, 71,361 sat for the exams, with an attendance rate of 64.42%. The pass rate among this category reached 36.95%, down from 39.56% in 2024.
Additionally, 152,261 candidates, both enrolled and independent, earned honors, accounting for 54.9% of all successful candidates.
For candidates enrolled in the international tracks of the Moroccan baccalaureate, the pass rate was 68.95%, while vocational tracks recorded a success rate of 76.15%.
Among students with disabilities, the success rate reached 69.66%. Some of these candidates benefited from specific support measures, including adapted exam materials, special testing conditions, and tailored grading procedures.
The Ministry noted that the 2025 session was marked by the continued digitalization of exam organization and the reinforcement of security mechanisms, especially regarding the secure and simplified distribution of exam materials and the safeguarding of their confidentiality.
For the second consecutive year, the Ministry implemented a confidential electronic coding system to ensure greater transparency in the grading process. Additionally, digital versions of baccalaureate diplomas and transcripts will continue to be issued by the Ministry.
Pedagogical, organizational, and awareness-raising measures were also strengthened in coordination with judicial and security authorities to combat all forms of cheating, including the use of digital tools.
Candidates received their results via SMS and through their official email accounts (taalim.ma) in the early hours of Saturday, June 14. Starting June 15, candidates will be provided with a digital version of their baccalaureate diploma.
A total of 153,612 candidates are expected to sit for the make-up session, scheduled for July 3, 4, and 5. Results will be published on July 12.
Furthermore, students who achieved outstanding results will participate in the National Science and Technology Competition, to be held on July 4 at Moulay Youssef High School in Rabat. The competition includes specialties such as mathematics, physics-chemistry, life and earth sciences, and engineering sciences, in line with the official organizational procedures.
The Ministry extended its congratulations to all successful candidates and praised the strong involvement of parents and guardians during this pivotal stage in their children’s academic journey.
It also expressed gratitude to teaching and administrative staff, local and security authorities, and all stakeholders for their active contribution to the success of this session, while wishing the best of luck to candidates preparing for the upcoming make-up exams.
