The 13th Moto Days fair “Fiera di Roma”, dedicated to motorcycle tourism, was inaugurated on Friday in Rome, with Morocco as the guest of honor at this benchmark event.

The Moroccan Embassy in Rome is taking part with a stand that reflects the country’s rich craft and cultural heritage, arousing the admiration and enthusiasm of visitors to the three-day Fair.

Speaking at the opening of the Fair, Morocco’s ambassador to Italy Youssef Balla underlined the high value of this form of tourism which is growing steadily in Morocco. “Far from the traditional trails, motorcycle tourism allows direct encounters with the locals.”

The general coordinator of the “Africa Eco Race”, Anthony Schless, presented the 2026 edition of this raid, which will cross Moroccan territory to Dakar. He pointed out that the next edition will start in Tangier and cross the Moroccan Sahara and Mauritania before arriving in Senegal.

The previous 2025 edition, organized under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI in partnership with the Association Sahara Marocain des Rallyes, which had linked Monaco to Dakar, had covered the Moroccan leg, one of the most important of the Africa Eco Race.

“Moto Days” features an exhibition area covering 40,000 square meters spread over four pavilions where motorcyclists and visitors discover the latest innovations in the two-wheeled market, while taking part in test rides on safe and off-road courses.
