Morocco distinguished itself on Saturday in Doha, winning two awards at the 7th edition of the “Fashion Trust Arabia” event, dedicated to supporting emerging talents in fashion, accessories and jewelry.
During the annual “Fashion Trust Arabia 2025” award ceremony, chaired over by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, honorary president of “Fashion Trust Arabia,” Moroccan designers Youssef Idrissi and Leila Roukni won the awards in the “Ready-to-Wear” and “Accessories” categories, respectively.
The ceremony, attended notably by Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani and Tania Fares, co-chairs of “Fashion Trust Arabia,” as well as a distinguished audience of international personalities, leading figures in the fashion industry, and young designers, also saw the award for the “Evening Wear” category granted to Saudi designer Ziad Al Buainain.
The “Jewelry” category award went to Egyptian designer Farah Radwan, while Bahraini designer Alaa Al Aradi won the “Franca Sozzani” award dedicated to young talents.
Bahraini designers Fatima and Dalal Al Khaja received the “Fashion Technology” award, while the “Guest Country” award (India) was presented to Kartik Kumra.
“Fashion Trust Arabia” is considered the first initiative of its kind in the region, offering significant opportunities in the form of funding and professional mentorship to support designers and help prepare them to enter the international market.
