The Morocco-Ethiopia Joint Military Commission held its first meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday in Addis Ababa.
The meeting was dedicated to reviewing an action plan for military and defense cooperation between the two parties.
The creation of this joint military commission was stipulated in the Military Cooperation Agreement signed last June in Rabat between the two countries.
In addition to establishing the commission, the agreement covers cooperation in the fields of training, drills and exercises, scientific research, military health, as well as the exchange of experiences and expertise in various areas of common interest.
The joint military commission, which is tasked with defining the main areas of cooperation, will meet alternately in Rabat and Addis Ababa.
