The Government Council, meeting Thursday in Rabat, adopted draft decree no. 2.25.1114 amending decree no. 2-02-642 establishing export free zones in the Tanger-Mediterranean special development zone.
Presented by the Minister of Equipment and Water on behalf of the Minister of Industry and Trade, this draft decree aims to amend the decree on the creation of the Ksar El Majaz industrial acceleration zone in order to meet the needs of investors and contribute to strengthening Morocco’s position within the international maritime trade system, Minister Delegate for Relations with Parliament and Government Spokesperson Mustapha Baitas said at a press briefing held following the Council meeting.
