Upper House Speaker Represents in Libreville HM the King at Inauguration of ‘Omar Bongo Ondimba’ Congress Center

Speaker of the House of Councillors Mohamed Ould Errachid represented on Sunday in Libreville His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the official inauguration ceremony of the “Omar Bongo Ondimba” Congress Center in the City of Democracy in Libreville, attended by several Heads of State and foreign delegations, representatives of diplomatic corps, as well as civilian and military dignitaries.

On this occasion, Ould Errachid conveyed to Gabonese President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema the fraternal greetings and sincere congratulations of His Majesty King Mohammed VI on the inauguration of this important institutional building, which holds special symbolic significance in the process of enshrining institutions and reinforcing Gabon’s influence at the African and international levels.

He also reiterated the Kingdom of Morocco’s pride in the deep bonds of brotherhood, friendship, and cooperation between the two brotherly nations, as well as His Majesty the King’s unwavering commitment to working alongside the Gabonese president to continue strengthening this special partnership in the service of the two brotherly nations’ common interests and in support of development, stability, and African cooperation.

Ould Errachid was accompanied at the inauguration ceremony by His Majesty the King’s Ambassador to Gabon Abdellah Sbihi.
