Arab foreign ministers were briefed Thursday in Cairo during the 164th session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level, about the projects and initiatives of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, the executive arm of the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in various areas of support for Palestinians and their institutions in the Holy City.
To this end, the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States shared a booklet published by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency highlighting various projects and programs carried out by the Agency under High Royal Guidance, which aim, in particular, to support Al Quds residents in social, cultural, educational, and economic fields.
Thus, in accordance with the working methodology of the Al-Quds Committee and based on a combination of political and diplomatic action with humanitarian work on the ground, the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency continues, upon Instructions of His Majesty the King, to fulfill its commitments to the Palestinian people.
Since the outbreak of war in Gaza, the Agency has continued its activities on site, despite the difficult security situation and measures restricting access to the Holy City.
Between January 2024 and June 2025, the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency carried out social and humanitarian projects worth $ 6 million, including social assistance and development programs aimed at supporting the economic empowerment of families.
During this period, the Agency also launched its digital strategy (2024-2027), which provides young Al Quds residents with a project incubator in the fields of renovation and innovation and the “Bayt Al Maghreb” platform dedicated to documenting and archiving the city’s heritage.
This strategy also provides the “Hayya” application dedicated to promoting the values of the Holy City among children and young people, as well as the “Dalala” platform for e-commerce of Palestinian products, in addition to a distance learning platform.
In accordance with High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Agency has allocated, on an exceptional basis, a budget of $1 million to the inhabitants of Gaza in support of the education system with cloud servers and a distance learning platform.
In addition, during the 2024-2025 academic year, eight students from the King Hassan II Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at Al-Azhar University in Gaza were accepted to continue their studies at the Hassan II Agricultural Institute in Rabat, thanks to a scholarship from Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency.
