The Ministerial Council of the League of Arab States, meeting on Sunday for its 165th ordinary session, welcomed in its declaration the important role played by the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, in protecting the Holy City, highlighting the efforts made by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, the executive arm of the Committee, to support the resilience of the inhabitants of Al-Quds on their land.
This declaration is part of a unified Arab position in light of the rapid developments concerning the Palestinian issue, particularly the situation in the West Bank, which is facing an accelerated campaign of annexation of Palestinian residents’ lands, alongside violations and provocations against them.
The Arab Foreign Ministers also note that the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, under the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, continues to strengthen its presence on the ground in Al-Quds by implementing specific programs and projects aimed at supporting the resilience of the inhabitants of Al-Quds across various vital sectors.
Thanks to this High Royal Solicitude, the Agency has been able to expand its interventions to the fields of housing, health, education, and social protection, while also providing support for the preservation of the Holy City’s historical and cultural monuments.
These achievements bear witness to the unwavering commitment of the Kingdom of Morocco, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, to defending the cause of Al-Quds and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as to strengthening the resilience of the inhabitants of Al-Quds against all plots aimed at erasing the Arab and Islamic identity of the Holy City.
