The Kingdom of Bahrain hailed HM King Mohammed VI’s pioneering role in consolidating the foundations of sustainable development and strengthening peace, security, and stability across the African continent, in a manner that meets the aspirations of its peoples for progress and development.
In a joint statement at the close of the 6th Morocco-Bahrain High Joint Commission held Monday in Laayoune, Bahrain highlighted the three landmark initiatives launched by His Majesty King Mohammed VI for Africa, namely the Royal Initiative aimed at enabling Atlantic ocean access to Sahel countries, the African Atlantic States Process and the African Atlantic Gas Pipeline project.
In this regard, Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, commended the efforts undertaken by the Kingdom of Morocco to strengthen African partnership with various continents and countries, based on sound foundations and principles.
