Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency Distributes More than 1,500 Food Baskets in Al-Quds During Ramadan

The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency distributed, in Al-Quds during the Holy month of Ramadan, over 1,500 food baskets to beneficiary families and around 3,000 food rations to the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque and several social centers, in addition to 200 Eid clothes for orphans cared for by the Agency.

These results were presented on Thursday during an Iftar ceremony held in Al-Quds attended by a number of Al-Quds religious and academic figures and representatives of social entities and organizations that have benefited from the social aid operation for 2025.

On this occasion, the Palestinian personalities attending the event highly praised this collective Iftar initiative which brought together the components of Palestinian society in Al-Quds around the same table, thus crowning the operation of the Holy month of Ramadan at a time which coincides with the commemoration of the blessed Laylat Al-Qadr.

Thus, the Mufti of Al Quds and Palestine, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Kingdom of Morocco and to the person of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al Quds Committee, for His constant support to Al-Quds’ institutions, particularly during the month of Ramadan, noting that Al-Quds and its inhabitants need the continuation of these efforts.

For his part, Bishop Munib Younan, former President of the Lutheran World Federation, emphasized the unity and cohesion of Palestinians, Muslims and Christians, hoping that this people can establish its independent state to live in security and serenity.

For his part, the deputy governor of the Holy City, Abdullah Siam, hailed the distinguished presence of Moroccans in Al Quds, through the commendable actions carried out by the Bayt Mal Al Quds Asharif Agency, under the aegis and supervision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and whose impact is perceptible on the daily lives of Al-Quds inhabitants.
