The Republic of Burundi praised on Monday the Royal Vision for Africa, through its Minister of Foreign Affairs, Albert Shingiro.
On the occasion of the 1st Joint Cooperation Commission between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Burundi, held in Rabat and co-chaired with Nasser Bourita, Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Shingiro commended the enlightened Initiative of His Majesty King Mohammed VI within the framework of the African Atlantic States, aimed at making this area a geostrategic framework for pragmatic cooperation and consultation.
The Burundian Foreign Minister also praised the opportunity offered by the Royal Initiative for the Sahel, which aims to facilitate access for Sahel countries to the Atlantic Ocean by connecting them to the transport and communication networks of their regional environment.
