The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has rejected an appeal by the Algerian Football Federation against the CAF interclub commission, which authorized the Moroccan football club RS Berkane to don its jerseys, bearing the Kingdom’s card including the moroccan Sahara, on the occasion of its match scheduled for Sunday in Algiers against the local team of USM.
On Saturday, the CAF commission authorized RS Berkane to wear its jersey for the quarter-final first leg of the CAF Confederations Cup, to the detriment of the Algerian Federation, which had requested a restriction on its use.
