The Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Morocco, Li Changlin, highlighted on Friday in Marrakech the remarkable growth of Sino-Moroccan relations in recent years.
Speaking at a conference under the theme “Sino-Moroccan Relations in the New Era and Their Development Prospects”, held as part of “Les Tribunes de Marrakech”, a conference series organized by Cadi Ayyad University, Changlin emphasized that the Sino-Moroccan partnership is experiencing unprecedented acceleration, driven by investments in key sectors such as the automotive industry, green energy, and textiles.
During his address, the Chinese diplomat underscored the dynamic bilateral relations, stressing the key role of university cooperation between the two countries, which opens new avenues for collaboration.
“Higher education institutions in both countries are called upon to pool their expertise to give new momentum to the Sino-Moroccan strategic partnership,” he said, noting that both nations have a rich cultural heritage widely appreciated internationally during festivals and exhibitions.
Changlin also expressed satisfaction with the “steady increase in the number of Chinese tourists visiting Morocco and vice versa,” which he described as a tangible sign of growing closeness between the two peoples.
“The complementarity of our economies and our shared visions pave the way for mutually beneficial cooperation,” he added.
