Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan Presides Over Military Graduation in Kenitra

Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan presided today over a military graduation ceremony at the Royal College of Higher Military Education (CREMS) in Kenitra. The event marked the completion of studies for the 25th class of the Higher Defense Course and the 59th class of the Staff Course.

The ceremony was held under the instructions of King Mohammed VI, who serves as Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.

Upon arrival at CREMS, Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan was greeted by Army Corps General Mohammed Berrid, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) and Commander of the Southern Zone, and the Colonel-Major, Director of CREMS. He then reviewed a detachment of the Royal Air Forces that rendered honors.

The Crown Prince was subsequently greeted by the Army Corps General, Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, senior officers of the FAR General Staff, the Wali of the Rabat-Sale-Kenitra region, the Governor of Kenitra province, the Delegated Arms Commander of Kenitra, and faculty members.

During the ceremony, Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan attended a presentation on “The role of FAR in securing borders.”

He then awarded certificates of higher military education with specialized master’s degrees in national defense to the officer trainees of the Higher Defense Course, and staff diplomas to the officer trainees of the Staff Course. Both national and foreign officers received these recognitions.

The Colonel-Major, Director of CREMS, presented Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan with the trainees’ academic work produced during the year, including a selection of research papers from the Higher Defense Course graduates.

The ceremony concluded with Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan posing for a commemorative photo with the two graduating classes.

This year’s graduating classes include 296 graduates, with 77 officers from 28 different countries, including Saudi Arabia, Spain, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, United States, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Egypt, France, Senegal, and Togo.
