Under the Very High Instruction of His Majesty the King, the Minister of Equipment and Water, Nizar Baraka, took part in the 7th African Union‑European Union Summit, whose proceedings opened on Monday in Luanda (Angola), under the theme ‘Promoting Peace and Prosperity through Effective Multilateralism.”
Placed under the sign of the pursuit of a robust, balanced, and forward-looking partnership, this Summit spans two days, on 24 and 25 November.
The Summit’s proceedings are organized around two sessions, one of which is under the theme “citizens, migrations, and mobility.”
His Majesty King Mohammed VI was designated Champion of the African Union on the issue of Migrations, during the 30th AU Summit in January 2018.
The Luanda Summit falls within the continuity of the 6th AU‑EU Summit, which was held on 17 and 18 February 2022 in Brussels, during which the two parties reaffirmed their determination to forge closer ties between the two continents, drawing inspiration from shared values, mutual interests, and a common vision to ensure sustainable growth and prosperity.
