The Presidency of the Government Majority stated on Tuesday that it is attentive to social demands, expressing its comprehension and willingness to engage with them in a constructive and responsible manner, through dialogue and debate within institutions and public spaces, in order to arrive at realistic and applicable solutions that serve the interests of the nation and its citizens.

In a statement issued following a meeting on the latest developments related to the political season and the political, economic, and social situation, the Presidency noted that an approach based on dialogue and consultation is the only way to address the challenges facing the country.

After examining the various developments related to youth expression in digital and public spaces, the Presidency welcomed the balanced interaction of the police, in accordance with the legal procedures in force.

Guided by the Royal Guidelines in the July 2025 Throne Speech, in which His Majesty the King, may God assist Him, called to adopt a new generation of territorial development programs, the Presidency reaffirmed the government’s adherence to the implementation of High Royal Guidelines, starting with the 2026 Finance Bill, particularly with regard to the overall upgrading of territorial areas and the reduction of social and spatial disparities in line with a vision of balanced and inclusive development.

Aware of the problems that have been accumulating in the healthcare system for decades, the Presidency emphasized that the reform ambitions expressed by the youth are in line with the priorities being worked on by the government.

Since taking office, the government has launched a major overhaul of the sector, the results of which cannot be measured immediately, given the scale of the reforms being carried out simultaneously, including the creation of regional health groups, the upgrading of hospitals at all levels, and an increase in the number of health professionals, in line with international standards, the same source noted.

She also welcomed initiatives aimed at initiating a debate on healthcare reform, in particular the initiative by parliamentary groups to have the Minister of Health and Social Protection give a detailed presentation to parliamentary committees and the examination of its various components, emphasizing in this regard that the Executive remains open to proposals from all active forces capable of contributing to the improvement of the healthcare system in order to meet the aspirations of all Moroccans.

Furthermore, the Presidency reaffirmed its strong commitment to completing the implementation of the government program based on strengthening the pillars of the welfare state, particularly in relation to the major royal project linked to social protection, as well as to continuing the momentum of reforms in the health and education sectors.

It also involves strengthening public and private investment to create jobs, without neglecting housing programs, youth empowerment, the fight against water stress, and reform of the justice system, through the consolidation of human rights achievements and the strengthening of the rule of law.

These reforms, which are designed to strengthen the social contract between citizens and the state, have a profound impact on the entire public policy system, helping to realize the common aspirations of all Moroccans.
