Secretary General of the Government Mohamed Hajoui received in Rabat on Wednesday the new Spanish Ambassador to Morocco Enrique Ojeda Villa.
On this occasion, the two officials welcomed the excellent ongoing relations of good neighborliness, friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, in accordance with the two nations’ new roadmap, on the basis of the High Guidelines and Foresightedness of HM King Mohammed VI, as well as the Sovereign’s exchanges with King Felipe VI and Head of the Spanish government Pedro Sanchez, a press release from the Government’s General Secretariat states.
In light of these highly favorable backdrop, Hajoui and Villa examined the possibilities for technical cooperation between the Kingdom’s Official Printing Office, under the Government’s General Secretariat, and the State Agency for the Official State Gazette, under the Ministry of the Presidency of the Spanish Government, in terms of the production and digital exploitation of legislative and regulatory texts, as well as the electronic dissemination of the law to provide better information for administrations, professionals and the general public, the same source points out.
“The General Secretariat will shortly begin work on three major projects in these areas. Spain is currently one of the most advanced countries in Europe in terms of the production and digital dissemination of law. Its experience and successful practices in these areas are of great interest to Morocco”, the press release concludes.
