The Guatemalan daily “Prensa Libre” has highlighted the transformative progress in various fields that Morocco is experiencing thanks to the far-sighted vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
In an article entitled “A King at the service of His people”, the publication noted that Morocco is living to the rhythm of a dynamic of development and all-out reforms, noting that these advances have enabled the Kingdom to uphold its vocation as a country combining authenticity and modernity.
From consolidating the foundations of the rule of law to modernizing the economy and strengthening its international stature, Morocco has stood out over the last 25 years as a regional power and a model to follow, thanks to the innovative and forward-looking vision of His Majesty the King, according to the same source.
Among the large-scale projects launched by Morocco, the author of the article cited the modernization of road, airport and rail infrastructures, as well as the development of the industrial, agricultural, tourism and renewable energy sectors.
The paper also highlighted the role of the institution of the Commandery of the Faithful in guaranteeing the Kingdom’s stability and spiritual security.
On the diplomatic front, “Prensa Libre” emphasized the growing support for the Moroccan autonomy initiative as the one and only solution to put a definitive end to the regional dispute over the Sahara.
The daily recalled the opening of consulates general in Dakhla and Laayoune by several countries in Africa, the Arab world and America, including Guatemala, noting that this dynamic reflects Morocco’s efforts to develop its southern provinces.
