The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned on Saturday the Iranian attack using ballistic missiles targeting the territory of the Kingdom of Jordan.
In a statement, the Ministry affirmed that Jordan will continue to take all available and necessary measures to protect the safety of its citizens, as well as its territorial integrity and sovereignty.
In the same context, the Ministry condemned the attacks targeting the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait, reaffirming Jordan’s full solidarity and support “to brotherly nations in the face of any aggression undermining their sovereignty, security, and stability.”
Furthermore, the Ministry emphasized “the need to exercise restraint and prioritize diplomatic solutions and dialogue to overcome crises and preserve the security and stability of the region,” adding that Jordan “will continue its cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries in order to put an end to regional tensions and consolidate security and stability in the region.”
