Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita held talks on Wednesday in Paris with his French counterpart Jean-Noël Barrot, on the sidelines of the 4th Conference on Feminist Foreign Policies.

According to a statement from the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the two ministers “discussed the many areas in which our particularly rich bilateral relationship has deepened- notably with regard to our industrial and strategic partnership, mobility, and global issues- and encouraged the continuation of this positive momentum,” the statement said.

On this occasion, Barrot welcomed Morocco’s recent accession to the group of countries with a feminist foreign policy (FFP+) as well as Bourita’s participation in this ministerial conference.

The two ministers also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest, the same source added.

Barrot “praised the prospects for strengthening the Euro-Moroccan and Euro-Mediterranean partnership in all its dimensions, to the benefit of both continents,” and reaffirmed his commitment to making Franco-Moroccan cooperation a key instrument in addressing regional and international crises.
