This decision aims to address the surge in oil prices on international markets and their impact on domestic fuel prices, the Office of the Head of Government stated in a press release.
“Through this direct and exceptional aid, dedicated to the professionals concerned, the government aims to mitigate the impact of rising fuel prices on the domestic market, in order to safeguard citizens’ purchasing power, ensure the normal and regular supply of markets and flowing of logistics chains, in addition to maintaining citizens’ mobility and transportation services,” the press release adds.
Starting Friday, March 20, 2026, eligible transportation professionals can register on the dedicated platform https://mouakaba.transport.gov.ma, where they will submit their applications by category and track them digitally, as was the case in the previous round.
The categories eligible for this exceptional government aid namely include freight transport, private passenger transport, small taxis, big taxis, mixed transport, passenger buses, and tourist transport, the same source concludes.
