The Morocco Pavilion at the International Tourism Exchange Berlin (ITB 2026) was officially inaugurated on Tuesday in the German capital, at the heart of the Mediterranean section of this global event, which runs from March 3 to 5.

The pavilion was inaugurated by Achraf Fayda, Director General of the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT), in the presence of Morocco’s Ambassador to Germany, Zohour Alaoui, alongside numerous Moroccan tourism professionals and operators.

With a surface area of over 1,000 m², making it one of the fair’s most significant spaces, Morocco—a crossroads between Africa and Europe—aims to strengthen its presence among major Mediterranean destinations while consolidating its status as Africa’s leading tourist destination.

Unlike previous editions which highlighted a single region, Morocco is showcasing three destinations at ITB 2026: Agadir, Fez, and Saïdia. The objective is to promote the diversity of the national tourism offering and consolidate the integration of all the Kingdom’s regions into international markets.

Throughout the three-day fair, the Moroccan delegation—comprising regional representatives, tour operators, hoteliers, and other travel industry professionals and institutions, such as Morocco’s flag carrier, Royal Air Maroc (RAM)—will hold numerous meetings with international sector stakeholders to promote its offerings and develop new partnerships.
