Thanks to the enlightened vision of HM King Mohammed VI, Morocco has successfully run the best edition of Africa Cup of Nations edition, said sports analyst and former Moroccan international Aziz Bennij.
In a statement to MAP, Bennij, an analyst for the Qatari channel Bein Sports, noted that the Kingdom’s remarkable progress and development were highlighted through the organization of a landmark edition of the continent’s major competition, meeting global standards, a source of pride for all Moroccans.
The former international added that this continental event, whose exceptional organization received widespread international acclaim, once again demonstrated to the world Morocco’s high level of preparation, exceeding all expectations in terms of stadium quality, infrastructure modernization, and organizational and logistical rigor, confirming that “the impossible is not Moroccan.”
Bennij also highlighted the commitment of all sectors of Moroccan society to the success of this continental event, noting that this mobilization, felt by every visitor to the Kingdom, was widely and spontaneously shared on social media, reflecting the values of openness, nobility, and hospitality that define the Moroccan identity.
The analyst further pointed out that the Atlas Lions’ qualification for the final of this 2025 edition of the Africa Cup of Nations fits within the momentum of Morocco’s successive achievements and results over recent years, across various football age categories as well as in other sports disciplines.
