Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, received, on Monday in Rabat, Caleb Fundanga, special envoy of the President of the Republic of Zambia, Hakainde Hichilema, bearer of a written message from Zambia’s President to HM King Mohammed VI.
In a statement to the press following this meeting, Samuel Munzele Maimbo, member of the Zambian delegation, underlined that the message of the President of the Republic of Zambia to His Majesty King Mohammed VI is part of the drive to strengthen the solid ties between the two countries.
This meeting with Bourita, attended by Eliphas J. Chinyonga, Head of Mission at Zambia’s Embassy in Morocco, provided an opportunity to convey the Zambian President’s profound thanks to His Majesty the King, who is ensures the strenghtening of bilateral ties, he stressed, adding that the two countries are constantly exchanging on the best means to strengthen the partnership between Rabat and Lusaka.
“What is fundamental in the relationship between Morocco and Zambia is dialogue and the exchange of relevant ideas around the development of the African continent”, Maimbo said.
