Morocco’s Head Coach Vows All Out Effort to Beat UAE, Reach Arab Cup Final

Determined to secure a spot in the Arab Cup (Qatar-2025) final, Morocco A’ head coach Tarik Sektioui vowed on Sunday in Doha that his team will give everything to defeat the UAE.

Speaking at the pre-semi-final press conference, scheduled for Monday at the Khalifa International Stadium in Al Rayyan, Sektioui emphasized that preparations are underway in a positive atmosphere, marked by commitment and sense of responsibility noting that this match is decisive for reaching the final.

The national players are determined to give their maximum effort to win against a strong opponent, he said, adding that the team has successfully overcome all difficulties, particularly before the start of the competition.

The national coach also expressed satisfaction with the return of Moroccan international Abderrazak Hamdallah, following his suspension against the Sultanate of Oman during the second day of the group stage, noting that Hamdallah is highly motivated to represent and honor the national colors in this competition.

Regarding the health status of Tarik Tissoudali, who was injured against Syria, he said that the medical staff is closely monitoring the player and that his condition is improving day by day.

Atlas Lions goalkeeper Rachid Ghanimi, for his part, highlighted that preparations for the match against the United Arab Emirates are proceeding well, adding that it will not be easy against a solid and tough team.

He also noted that the national team will need to leverage its strengths while limiting the danger posed by the Emirati players.
