Mohamed Abdennabaoui, First President of the Court of Cassation and President Delegate of Morocco’s Supreme Council of the Judiciary, met French Justice Minister Gérald Darmanin in Rabat on Monday to discuss ways to strengthen judicial cooperation between the two countries.
During this meeting, both officials held talks on judicial training, expertise exchange, and organizing joint seminars on organized crime and counterterrorism.
The two sides also agreed to activate a judicial twinning agreement between Morocco’s Court of Cassation and its French counterpart and to further consolidate their legal partnership, a key pillar of the broader strategic alliance between Rabat and Paris.
The meeting comes as Morocco and France reaffirm their commitment to deepening cooperation in the legal and judicial fields.
Moroccan Justice Minister Abdellatif Ouahbi and Darmanin formalized this commitment in a Joint Declaration, signed earlier Monday, outlining future collaboration and ongoing efforts to tackle shared challenges.
