Morocco’s RS Berkane won the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Cup in Zanzibar on Sunday, holding SIMBA SC to a 1-1 draw in the second leg of the final, after winning the first leg 2-0.
After delivering a commanding performance in the first leg, the Moroccan club confirmed superiority over the course of the two-legged face-off, thus clinching its third continental title after those won in 2020 and 2022.
