A new deal between Morocco’s Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance (DGSN) and Renault Group gives police personnel and their families deals on the French auto giant’s new vehicle lineup.

Director General of DGSN Abdellatif Hammouchi joined Renault Morocco’s chief executive to finalize the partnership deal on Sunday in El Jadida, according to the DGSN statement.

The signing took place during the DGSN’s Open Days at Mohammed VI Exhibition Park, running May 17-21.

Under this new agreement, members of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works — which serves active and retired security staff, as well as their families — will enjoy reduced prices.

The benefits extend to the company’s certified used vehicles (second-hand) available at the group’s sales locations.

The deal goes beyond just purchase discounts. Security personnel will also access special financing terms and reduced costs for vehicle maintenance at Renault service centers.

Morocco’s DGSN launched its Open Days on May 16, which coincides with the celebration of its 69th anniversary, an opportunity for security forces to connect with citizens in what it calls shared societal responsibility.

This car-focused initiative represents just one piece of DGSN’s larger mission to enhance police welfare.

By addressing everyday concerns like transportation, Morocco’s security leaders believe officers can better concentrate on their core responsibilities — keeping citizens safe and maintaining order throughout the country.
