The speech delivered by His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the opening of the Parliament’s session is a frank and clear call for vigilance and commitment to accelerate development initiatives and to defend the causes of the Nation and its citizens, stated Egyptian writer and international relations expert, Nabil Najm Eddine.
In a statement to MAP, the political analyst emphasized that the Royal Speech contains several key points that must be carefully considered, understood, and implemented.
He highlighted the Sovereign’s call to act with seriousness and responsibility to successfully complete legislative processes and carry out ongoing programs and projects, while remaining alert and committed to advocating for citizens’ needs.
In this regard, His Majesty the King urged a significant shift in mindsets and working methods to accelerate the pace of development, noted Najm Eddine, stressing that this call reflects the Sovereign’s deep concern for the real needs of citizens and His commitment to addressing them.
Highlighting the remarkable economic development Morocco has experienced under HM the King’s enlightened leadership over the past twenty years, the Egyptian analyst pointed out that the Sovereign has made social justice a strategic priority, considering that the level of local development is the true reflection of Morocco’s overall progress.
In another vein, the Egyptian writer noted that the Sovereign’s speech outlines a clear roadmap in which He calls for special attention to be given to the most vulnerable areas, for the effective and rigorous implementation of sustainable development mechanisms along the national coastline, and for the expansion of the rural development program aimed at emerging rural centers.
