The General Union of Workers of Morocco (UGTM) emphasized that the adoption of resolution 2797 by the UN Security Council, which clearly supports the autonomy initiative as the sole political solution to the artificial dispute over the southern provinces, is the fruit of a clear-sighted diplomacy under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
In a press release, the Union expressed its pride, just as all the Nation’s components, of the Security Council resolution, reaffirming its continuous mobilization behind the Sovereign to defend the just national cause and follow the incoming changes.
The UGTM also highly praised the contents of the Speech delivered by HM the King following the adoption of the latest UN resolution, emphasizing that the Royal Speech reflects “the wisdom and balance of the Sovereign’s approach with regard to the national cause since His accession to the Throne of His glorious ancestors.”
This historic Speech, which represents a Royal roadmap to manage the next step, shows that Morocco has effectively ushered from the management stage of the artificial dispute into a state in which the situation should change, the UGTM said.
