The Moroccan real estate fair “SMAPIMMO,” the leading event dedicated to promoting property projects in Morocco, is holding its 10th edition in Brussels, with strong participation from industry professionals and a large turnout of visitors from the Moroccan community residing in Belgium.
A must-attend event for the Moroccan diaspora in Belgium, as well as for Belgian buyers wishing to settle in Morocco and European investors interested in real estate opportunities in the Kingdom, the fair has, over the years, established itself as a strategic platform for promoting Moroccan real estate and exploring its prospects.
More than 40 exhibitors representing various regions of Morocco are taking part in this three-day event, alongside representatives of Moroccan banks and agencies specialized in real estate development.
The program of this annual event includes a series of conferences and meetings led by experts in legal, financial, and real estate fields, aimed at providing visitors with practical advice on acquisition procedures and financing options in Morocco.
SMAPIMMO also serves as a showcase of Morocco’s development momentum, particularly in terms of infrastructure, urban planning, and city modernization.
On this occasion, Morocco’s ambassador to Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Mohamed Ameur, stressed the particular importance of this event, which supports major development projects and large-scale real estate initiatives across the Kingdom’s regions, thereby enhancing the attractiveness of the national market and opening promising prospects for investors.
Ameur told MAP that “SMAPIMMO Brussels” has become a key event not only for Moroccans in Belgium but also for Belgian and European investors, offering them the opportunity to closely explore the strengths and opportunities of Morocco’s real estate sector, in a context marked by a favorable business climate and sustained reforms.
