The speech delivered on Friday by HM King Mohammed VI in Parliament paves the way for equitable and inclusive development and upholds social and spatial justice as a central pillar of any development model, said Spanish academic researcher Carlos Uriarte Sánchez.
The King Juan Carlos University Professor told MAP that the Royal Speech continues the strategic orientations aimed at building a fairer, more inclusive, and united Morocco, where social and spatial justice serve as a permanent guideline rather than a temporary priority.
The Sovereign, he noted, emphasized that economic growth only makes sense if its benefits reach all citizens, highlighting the necessity of balanced, inclusive, and harmonious development across the entire territory of the Kingdom.
Uriarte also highlighted the Royal call to change mindsets and working methods in favor of a culture of results, rigor, and efficiency, based on the use of reliable data and digital technologies for better territorial governance.
The Spanish researcher further emphasized the Sovereign’s determination to strengthen solidarity between regions and to pay particular attention to the most vulnerable areas, notably mountainous zones, through integrated and sustainable public policies.
He concluded that the Royal Speech illustrates the humanistic and inclusive vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, aimed at ensuring equal opportunities, promoting equitable territorial development, and establishing national cohesion as a cornerstone of an emerging and united Morocco.
