Stellantis Maroc and Al Barid Bank have joined forces to help Moroccan professionals access financing for micro-mobility vehicles.

Announced on Thursday, the agreement aims to promote affordable and sustainable transportation while supporting small business owners across the country.

Under the deal, professional clients can receive financing covering up to 80% of the vehicle’s value, depending on the results of their loan application with Al Barid Bank.

The vehicles, distributed through Stellantis Maroc’s authorized network, meet the company’s high standards of quality and reliability and come with local after-sales service, according to a press release.

It adds that a key model under this initiative is the Fiat TRIS, a compact and economical urban mobility vehicle designed for daily professional use. The program mainly targets young entrepreneurs, delivery workers, artisans, and self-employed professionals who need a practical and affordable transport solution for their work.

“Through this partnership with Al Barid Bank, we are offering a solution perfectly suited to the needs of young Moroccan entrepreneurs,” said Yves Peyrot des Gachons, Managing Director of Stellantis Maroc.

“The Fiat TRIS reflects our commitment to making mobility more accessible while supporting local economic growth,” the managing director stated, adding that the vehicle is a “concrete response to new lifestyles where mobility and entrepreneurship go hand in hand.”

Meanwhile, Nejjar Al-Amine, Chairman of the Management Board of Al Barid Bank, said the collaboration continues the bank’s mission of promoting financial inclusion. “By making financing easier for micro-entrepreneurs and young professionals, we are helping create value, jobs, and sustainability,” he explained.

“With Stellantis Maroc, we share the same ambition: to put finance and mobility at the service of Morocco’s economic development,” Al-Amine added.

This partnership, the statement concluded, represents a strong example of cooperation between the public and private sectors to promote green and inclusive mobility. It also aligns with Morocco’s national goals for energy transition and entrepreneurship support and could lead to new, innovative financing models in the automotive sector.
