A French delegation visited Dakhla on Friday to explore business opportunities in the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region and examine ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation in various fields.
The visit enabled the French delegation, led by mayor of Montpellier Michaël Delafosse to learn about the main structuring projects and prospect investment opportunities and economic assets in the region.
It was also an opportunity to examine ways of strengthening cooperation between the municipality of Dakhla and Montpellier City Council, through the forthcoming signing of a cooperation and friendship protocol.
During the visit, members of the delegation met with the Secretary General of the Wilaya of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab Abderrazak El Gourji, President of the Municipality of Dakhla Erragheb Hormatallah, Vice-President of the Regional Council Moulay Boutal Lembarki, and Director of the Regional Investment Center Mounir Houari.
They also explored several projects, including the construction site of the Dakhla Atlantique port, the Higher Institute of Audiovisual and Film Trades and the site of the MGH Energy Group, specialized in the production of green energies and e-fuels.
