Morocco has achieved exceptional progress under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, which is widely admired internationally, said Peruvian international relations expert Ricardo Sánchez Serra.
“Many countries are following with great admiration and attention the great achievements and profound transformations led by His Majesty the King, transforming Morocco into a model of development in Africa and beyond”, Serra, who is also Vice-President of the Federation of Journalists of Peru, told MAP, on the occasion of the celebration of the glorious Throne Day.
Among these major achievements, the Peruvian expert cited the Dakhla Atlantique port, which he said would “radically change the face of trade and strengthen Morocco’s position as a continental hub”.
On another front, Serra praised the “effective” and “active” diplomatic action carried out under the wise leadership of HM the King, which has helped garner broad international support for the Moroccan Sahara.
In the same vein, he deemed the autonomy plan presented by Morocco in 2007 to be the only lasting and credible solution to this dispute.
On a continental level, he pointed out that the Kingdom has turned into a gateway to Africa, particularly for Latin America, which eyes Morocco as a strategic partner and a bridge to promising new opportunities.
Highlighting Morocco’s actions in favor of Africa, Serra underlined the “far-reaching” impact of the Royal Initiative to promote access to the Atlantic Ocean for Sahel countries, reflecting the Kingdom’s firm commitment to pan-African solidarity and integration.
