The Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Ahmed Toufiq, held talks on Tuesday in Manama with Bahrain’s Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, focusing on strengthening bilateral cooperation.
During the talks, the two sides discussed a number of issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on best practices in the management of the endowment system, in a manner that serves shared interests and consolidates the strong fraternal ties between the two countries, the Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
The meeting, which was attended by HM the King’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mustapha Benkhayi, also provided an opportunity for the two ministers to review ways to further promote cooperation between the two countries.
BNA further noted that the talks took place within the framework of the longstanding, close and brotherly relations between the two brotherly Kingdoms, highlighting the shared determination of both countries to strengthen cooperation and coordination across various fields.
