As the holy month of Ramadan unfolds, the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency, operating under the Al-Quds committee, chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, advances its annual social assistance campaign in the holy city.

The Agency has launched the distribution of food parcels to social centers and hospitals caring for patients, including Al-Maqassed Hospital. The initiative follows a carefully established plan designed to ensure that assistance reaches the most vulnerable during the sacred month.

Each afternoon, field teams distribute iftar meals to worshippers attending prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque. The operation also extends to charitable kitchens, Bedouin communities, and villages across the governorate, reflecting a broad humanitarian outreach.

Adnan Farhoud, Deputy Director General of Al-Maqassed Hospital, expressed deep gratitude to the Agency for its substantial and consistent support, particularly during Ramadan. He noted that the donated supplies will help provide meals for patients, their companions, and hospital staff, with priority given to patients and those accompanying them.

Farhoud also conveyed appreciation to the Kingdom of Morocco, its King, government, and people, for their steadfast support of the Holy City and its institutions.

Omar Idais, Deputy Administrative Director of Al-Maqassed Hospital, described the Agency’s initiative as a remarkable gesture that reflects the scale and continuity of Morocco’s backing for Al-Quds. He emphasized that this annual campaign is part of a longstanding humanitarian commitment, carried out regularly as part of the Agency’s charitable work in the city.

Through these efforts, Morocco once again demonstrates what the hospital official described as sincere generosity and unwavering solidarity with the residents of Al-Quds, ensuring that the spirit of Ramadan is accompanied by tangible acts of compassion and support.
