Snowfall above 1,400 meters is expected from Tuesday to Wednesday in several Moroccan provinces, the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM) announced.
This will affect the provinces of Azilal, Beni Mellal, Ifrane, and Boulemane (20-40 cm) from Tuesday at 6 a.m. to Wednesday at 11 p.m., the DGM said in an orange-level weather alert.
During the same period, snowfall (10-20 cm) is forecast in the provinces of Al Haouz, Taza, Chefchaouen, Ouarzazate, Tinghir, Figuig, Khénifra, Sefrou, Al Hoceima, and Guercif.
