Morocco’s airports recorded a commercial traffic volume of 12,336,962 passengers by the end of April 2026, up 9.7% compared to the same period a year earlier, according to the National Airports Office (ONDA).

Mohammed V Airport, which accounts for more than 30% of total traffic, welcomed 3,756,740 passengers, marking a 12.6% increase compared to the end of April 2025, ONDA said.

Most of the Kingdom’s other airports also posted strong growth rates, notably Beni Mellal (+27.06%), Errachidia (+18.53%), Rabat-Salé (+13.48%), Tangier Ibn Battouta (+11.5%), Nador El Aroui (+11.29%), Marrakech-Menara (+10.81%) and Agadir Al Massira (+10.27%). This performance was mainly driven by international traffic.

International traffic growth concerned all geographic markets. Europe, which represents more than 80% of total international traffic, recorded a 9.64% increase. Other markets, namely Africa, North America, the Maghreb and South America, grew by 19.61%, 21.98%, 13.65% and 41.24% respectively. In contrast, the Middle and Far East market declined by 4.62%.

Regarding airport movements, ONDA noted that 91,128 flights departing from and arriving at Morocco’s airports were recorded by end-April 2026, representing a 10.35% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
