Heatwave Expected From Friday to Sunday in Several Moroccan Provinces

A heatwave is expected from Friday to Sunday in several provinces of the Kingdom, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).

Hot weather (39-42°C) will affect the provinces of Taza, Berkane, Oujda-Angad, Fez, Moulay Yacoub and Taounate on Saturday and Sunday, the DGM said in an orange-level weather alert bulletin.

Likewise, a heatwave, with temperatures oscillating between 40 and 45°C, will affect from Friday to Sunday the provinces of Errachidia, Jerada, Taourirt, Figuig, Zagora, Tata, Boujdour, Oued Ed-Dahab, Aousserd, Guercif and Boulemane, according to the same source.
