Morocco’s local national team secured a 3–1 victory over Zambia on Thursday in their fourth Group A outing at the African Nations Championship (CHAN), held at Nairobi’s Kasarani Stadium.
Mohamed Hrimat opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time (45+2), before Oussama Lamlioui doubled the lead in the 67th minute. Andrew Phiri pulled one back for Zambia three minutes later, but Sabir Bougrine sealed the win deep into added time (90+5).
The Atlas Lions, who have now played three matches, move to six points in the standings.
In the day’s other Group A fixture, Angola face DR Congo later Thursday (18:00 GMT+1), while Kenya sit out this round.
