AI Casablanca to Bring Tech Executives for Talks on Future of Work

Casablanca is set to host a major international conference on artificial intelligence (AI) and the future of work on May 23, 2026.

AI Casablanca, which will take place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Casablanca,gathers global tech figures, entrepreneurs, investors, executives, startups, and public sector decision-makers.

Morocco Business Catalysts will organize the event titled “AI Casablanca – Human Work in the AI Era.” The aim is to position Casablanca as a regional meeting point for discussions around AI-driven transformation, innovation, and organizational change.

The conference will bring together Moroccan and international speakers working across artificial intelligence, machine learning, technology infrastructure, organizational transformation, and AI product development. According to the event presentation document, the format is inspired by major international technology conferences and will rely on interactive roundtables and standing panel discussions designed to encourage direct exchanges between speakers and attendees.

Among the announced speakers is Vincent Tauzia, former Vice President of Product Partnerships at Netflix and now a strategic advisor and technology executive working in AI systems and scaling operations. The event will also feature Dominique Lahaix, founder and CEO of Scientia.ai, who focuses on expanding access to AI technologies for businesses.

Dr. Jan van de Poll, founder of Transparency Lab and PRAIORITIZE, is also scheduled to participate. Organizers describe him as a specialist in AI-driven organizational transformation who has worked on more than 1,000 transformation projects internationally.

Moroccan entrepreneur Anas Mbasso, founder of EKINOX, Moovance, and Athenyx, is expected to speak about the growing role of AI across sectors, including healthcare, mobility, retail, defense, and industry. Omar Kamali, Senior Director of Gen AI Engineering at Blue Yonder and founder of Omneity Labs, will also participate in the conference.

Kamali is known for developing one of the first large language models dedicated to Darija and Amazigh through the Sawalni.ma project. His work focuses heavily on technological sovereignty and the place of Moroccan languages and culture in global AI systems.

The event’s program will begin at 9 a.m. with participant reception and networking sessions before opening remarks from Mohamed Elfane. A ministerial address is also planned during the morning sessions, centered on competitiveness, transformation, sovereignty, and the changing nature of work.

A keynote by Anas Mbasso will focus on the accelerating impact of artificial intelligence on organizations and work structures. Later discussions will examine changes affecting productivity, management models, customer relations, and the evolving balance between humans and machines.

Another segment, titled AI Native in Action, will feature pitches and testimonials from Moroccan and international AI-native companies presenting new business models and AI-based products.

The afternoon sessions include a keynote by Vincent Tauzia focused on building and adapting in rapidly changing technological cycles. A large expert panel later in the day will include Dr. Jan van de Poll, Dominique Lahaix, Omar Kamali, and Goulven Furet discussing how AI is reshaping infrastructure, professions, organizations, and business operations.

Organizers say the event targets company executives, entrepreneurs, investors, institutional leaders, startups, students, and young professionals interested in understanding how artificial intelligence is transforming economic sectors and labor structures.

AI Casablanca will conclude with a networking session bringing together participants, speakers, and companies for further exchanges and partnerships.
