Morocco secured a commanding 3-1 victory in the first round of play-offs against Cyprus on February 3-4 in Nicosia, ensuring its position in the Davis Cup World Group II.

The Moroccans took an early lead of 2-0 on the first day, with Yassine Dlimi and Elliot Benchetrit delivering strong performances. They sealed their triumph with a decisive doubles victory, as Benchetrit and Adam Moundir defeated Cypriots Sergis Kyratzis and Eleftherios Neos with scores of 6-4, 6-4.

In the fourth match, Hamza Karmoussi faced tough competition from Cypriot Stylianos Christodoulou, ultimately falling with scores of 3-6, 1-6. Despite this individual loss, Morocco’s overall performance secured its place in the Davis Cup World Group II.
