The High-Level Conference on the Globalization of the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) and the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH) opened Thursday in Dakar, with Morocco’s participation.

The Moroccan delegation to this event is led by the Kingdom’s Ambassador to Senegal Hassan Naciri, accompanied by Rachid Ouadifi, representative of the HCCH Regional Office for Africa in Rabat, and Ayoub Kaddouri, legal officer at the same Office.

This two-day conference focuses on presenting the mandates and main work of the CPA and the HCCH, as well as on topics centered in particular on the role and contribution of regional offices and the HCCH’s presence in Africa.

The CPA and the HCCH are key instruments of international law, and their global adoption aims to strengthen legal cooperation among States and provide a better framework for cross-border relations.
