15th Morocco-France High Level Meeting Kicks off in Rabat

The proceedings of the 15th session of the Morocco-France High-Level Meeting (HLM) kicked off on Thursday in Rabat, under the co-chairmanship of the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, and the French Prime Minister, Sébastien Lecornu.

This meeting is held to enshrine the reinforced exceptional partnership between Morocco and France, under the leadership of the two Heads of State, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, and the French President, Emmanuel Macron.

Preceded by bilateral meetings between members of the governments of the two countries, this HLM will notably be marked by the signing of several agreements aimed at injecting a new dynamic into Moroccan-French relations.

It features the participation, on the Moroccan side, of the Minister of the Interior, Abdelouafi Laftit, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah, the Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, the Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, Mohamed Saad Berrada, and the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, Ahmed El Bouari.

Also participating are the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Abdessamad Kayouh, the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, the Minister Delegate in charge of the National Defense Administration, Abdeltif Loudyi, the Minister Delegate in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, and the Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, Omar Hjira.

The French delegation is composed of the Minister of the Interior, Laurent Nunez, the Minister of Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, Roland Lescure, the Minister Delegate in charge of Vocational Education and Training and Apprenticeships, Sabrina Roubache, the Minister Delegate in charge of Francophonie, International Partnerships and French Nationals Abroad, Eléonore Caroit; and the Minister of Agriculture, Annie Genevard.

It also includes the Minister of Transport, Philippe Tabarot, the Minister of Culture, Catherine Pégard, the Minister of the Armed Forces and Veterans, Catherine Vautrin, the Minister Delegate in charge of Artificial Intelligence and Digital, Anne Le Henanff, and the Minister Delegate in charge of Foreign Trade and Attractiveness, Nicolas Forissier.
