The CAF Confederation Cup is set for a thrilling conclusion this Sunday, as Renaissance Sportive de Berkane (RSB) travels to Zanzibar to take on Simba SC in the second leg of the final.
The game will kick-off is scheduled at 8:00 pm local time (GMT+3) – 2:00 PM Moroccan time – at the Amaan stadium. The match will be televised live across various sports networks, including beIN Sports, SuperSport, and national broadcasters, including Moroccan sports channel Arryadiya.
Fans can also catch the action via online streaming platforms such as CAF TV (YouTube) or the official CAF website.
Play-by-play coverage and match highlights will also be available on CAF’s official social media channels and sports news websites.
RS Berkane heads into the decisive leg with a 2-0 lead, thanks to goals from Mamadou Camara and Oussama Lemlioui in the first leg played at the Municipal Stadium of Berkane. The Moroccan side now looks to seal a historic third continental title, having already lifted the Confederation Cup in 2020 and 2022.
Already crowned champions of Morocco for the first time in their history this season, a win or draw on Sunday would give RSB a rare continental and domestic double.
A club on the rise
Under the leadership of head coach Mouine Chaabani, RSB has shown tactical discipline, attacking flair, and remarkable consistency.
This is their fifth CAF final in six years, reflecting their sustained dominance on the continent.
Their path to the final has been impressive, as they topped their group with five wins and a draw, then eliminated ASEC Mimosas and CS Constantine in the knockout stages.
Despite the two-goal cushion, RSB is not approaching this final with complacency. Chaabani said today during a pre-match conference that the team will play to win rather than defend the lead.
