under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, is constantly committed to promoting South-South cooperation and co-development in Africa, Minister of Economy and Finance Nadia Fettah said Sunday in Casablanca.
Speaking at the opening of the Investment Round Table dedicated to financing the Central African Republic’s National Development Plan 2024-2028, the minister noted that this two-day gathering illustrates “the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to South-South cooperation and assistance to development ” for this country.
In a statement to the press, Fettah spoke of this event as part of His Majesty the King’s vision to promote African solidarity, adding that the Kingdom stands alongside the Central African Republic as it embarks on a promising path of development.
She further stated that holding this meeting in Morocco, with its strong experience in developing public-private partnerships and mobilizing funds, is an important opportunity to showcase opportunities offered by the Central African Republic to international and continental investors.
“This round table is a momentous occasion for the Central African Republic, as it is the first time such an event takes place here in Casablanca, Morocco, a truly internationally recognized business hub,” said Richard Filakota, Minister of Economy, Planning, and International Cooperation of the Central African Republic.
“Our country is most proud to be working with the Kingdom of Morocco to mobilize investors around our National Development Plan, which reflects our people’s ambitions for sustainable growth and progress,” he noted in a similar statement.
“Our goal is to mobilize approximately $12.5 billion to fund strategic projects included in this plan. This is a decisive step toward creating a new dynamic for development,” Filakota emphasized.
