The 2025 World Manufacturing Conference opened on Saturday in Hefei, the capital of China’s eastern Anhui Province, with Morocco represented by its Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, Convergence, and the Evaluation of Public Policies.
The conference serves as a strategic platform for sharing expertise, fostering connections among industrial stakeholders, and promoting high-impact investments.
It brings together representatives from more than 40 countries and regions, including government officials, diplomats, business leaders, heads of international organizations, and presidents of professional associations.
Morocco’s participation in this high-level event aligns with the implementation of the High Royal Guidelines aimed at consolidating the Kingdom’s position as a competitive and attractive global investment hub. It also underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to strengthening economic ties with China, particularly in the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
The Moroccan delegation’s agenda includes meetings and visits to leading Chinese companies and flagship factories, notably Gotion High-Tech, as well as discussions with key professional organizations attending the event.
The program also features meetings with Anhui provincial officials and B2B workshops covering various strategic sectors within the manufacturing industry, including the automotive and agri-food sectors.
