The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, received on Thursday in Rabat the Speaker of the National Assembly of the United Republic of Tanzania, Mussa Azzan Zungu.
In a statement to the press following his talks with Bourita, the Tanzanian official affirmed that his country is determined to strengthen its cooperative relations with Morocco.
Zungu also highlighted the depth of the relations between the two countries, expressing the hope that these ties would be further consolidated, particularly in the field of parliamentary diplomacy.
He explained that this visit to the Kingdom will provide an opportunity to strengthen relations between the two parliaments through the exchange of experiences and expertise, while also praising the ongoing support Morocco continues to provide to his country.
Zungu’s visit to Morocco is the first of its kind since his election on November 11 as Speaker of the National Assembly of the United Republic of Tanzania.
