Accordingly, Hammouchi held talks with the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Rabat, Alex Pinfield, focusing on the various areas of advanced security cooperation between the two countries, a DGSN statement said.

Both sides reviewed the levels and forms of distinguished cooperation between the two Kingdoms in the security field, which includes border policing, counterterrorism, and the fight against transnational crime.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to examine ways to expand the scope of this cooperation in order to elevate it to the level of the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries.
Hammouchi also met with the Ambassador of Gabon to Rabat, Branly Martial Oupolo. This meeting offered an opportunity to review ways to strengthen security cooperation between the two countries and to examine the security situation in the region, particularly in the Sahel-Saharan zone, as well as the risks, threats, and repercussions of emerging crises within the regional space of both countries.
The exchanges helped lay the foundations for a shared strategic vision aimed at building a South–South police cooperation framework, based on strengthening cooperation mechanisms in the areas of police training, combating illegal migration networks, and monitoring and countering terrorist organizations in the Sahel and Sahara region.
The top police chief also held talks with the Ambassador of Malaysia to Morocco, Shahabudeen Bin Adam, on mechanisms to strengthen security cooperation between the two countries and to consolidate the partnership in this field so as to include mutual technical assistance and operational cooperation.
These talks reflect the commitment of the DGSN-DGST hub to implementing security partnerships with brotherly and friendly countries through a sustainable vision aimed at consolidating effective complementarity in combating emerging criminal and terrorist threats, as well as strengthening channels for the exchange of operational data and specialized training programs in police-related fields.
They also illustrate the determination of Morocco’s security services to meet requests for cooperation that help strengthen security coordination between Morocco and its brotherly and friendly countries.
